Grace Presbyterian Church

Encountering Grace, Embracing Community

Our Pastor

Brandon Farquhar - Planting Pastor

Brandon has been serving in ministry in southern CT for the past 12 years and is excited about this opportunity to start a new gospel church in Norwalk. He and His wife, Rebecca, have been married for 18 years and have been blessed with four children: Connor (14), Riley (12), Aiden (10), and Aubrey (6).

After growing up in Maryland and attending seminary in St. Louis, the Farquhars moved to CT in 2011 when Brandon was called as an Assistant Pastor at Grace Church of Greenwich. In 2014 Brandon transitioned to serve as the Fairfield/Westchester Area Director for FOCUS (a student outreach and discipleship organization serving middle school and upper school students at independent schools).

During Brandon’s eight year with FOCUS, the Farquhars attended and served in Grace Church Stamford, which is now one of the partner churches. They moved to Norwalk in 2022 to prepare for the church planting work. Brandon has been ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) since 2013.

Our Beliefs

Our Church

We believe that local, Christ-centered and biblically faithful churches are the very epicenter of Christ’s saving presence on earth “against which even the gates of hell cannot prevail”! The church is the place where the promises of God and the presence of God come together, where “heaven meets earth.”

We believe that Jesus is alive and active in and through His church. We want to embrace and embody Jesus’ continued ministry as He speaks through His Word, gives grace to all who respond in faith, and rules over everything for our good and His glory.

We hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith as a faithful and helpful summary of what the Bible teaches.

Our Denomination

Grace Presbyterian Church is a member of the Presbyterian Church in American (PCA). Being Presbyterian means that we believe that God cares for the local church through pastors and elders who serve under Christ and shepherd and lead as gospel servants. Our pastor and elders, and our church, are accountable and under the care of the Southern New England Presbytery.

In particular, this church plant is supported by the joint effort of Grace Church Stamford and Christ Presbyterian Church in New Haven. Both churches are passionate and committed to helping start new gospel churches in southern CT.

You don't have to be a Presbyterian, or even a Christian, to join us at Grace Presbyterian Church. We seek to be a church that is welcoming and engaging for anyone who is open to considering who Jesus is and what He means for a life of faith.
